Come see me in Booth 14!
In their 22nd year, the Collingswood Book Festival “has been called the most quiet fun experience thousands of people can have!” I’ll be one of 275 authors and exhibitors and 60 authors presenting on the Children, Young Adult, Poetry, and Adult Authors stages. There will be music, food, and “literary games and activities.” I think I’ve died and gone to heaven – what more could you ask if you love books as much as I do?
In 2019, attendance was 7,000. The list I just got from them for this year showed 8,300! Mind boggling. If just 1% bought my book, I didn’t order nearly enough copies to bring with me. I can only hope that’s a real problem.
Right across the river from Philadelphia, Collingswood is in southern New Jersey. Collingswood boasts they were voted by USA Today the “Best Small Town Food Scene” in the nation. Books and great food – winning combination.
What will make this extra special is that I invited my dad to join me in the booth. At 92, he’s just about ready to publish his third novel – he published his first when he was 88. We’ve been busy designing our booth, getting bookmarks and posters made, buying a canopy and tables, having a banner made – there’s a lot that goes into this kind of event. We’re looking forward to meeting many interesting people and hopefully selling a book or two. Stop by Collingswood Book Festival Booth 14 if you’re in the area.
